Eight months old!

Zoey is only 4 months away (WOW) from her first birthday! Her pink elephant slideshow has been updated here and this month's picture is extra special :) As an eight month old, Zoey is enjoying eating all sorts of fruits and veggies, with meat to be added next! She likes to feed herself Geber Puffs (little cereal-like treats with flavors like banana and sweet potato that dissolve in her mouth) - it's too cute, she opens her mouth as soon as her hand grabs it, even though sometimes it takes a minute to get up to her mouth - but her mouth is READY! She "talks" a lot, including "mama", "baba", and "poof", we're trying to work on "dada"! Zoey sits up perfectly and can stand up holding on to something, she can even pull herself up to standing! Because of that, we lowered the crib mattress this weekend. She hasn't tried to pull herself up in her crib yet, but I'm sure it won't be long and better safe than sorry! No crawling yet, but she will push/scoot forward if you put her up against a wall or something she can get some leverage off of. Zoey still does great in the church and gym nurseries, she just LOVES watching other kids/people and doesn't seem to miss us at all! We go for a walk almost every morning and she babbles most of the way, talking to her seat belt strap (and eating it)!
