Happy Easter!

Easter Sunday was a great day, we started out at church, watching the final act of 8 Days, the story of Jesus' final 8 days, ending of course with His resurrection! Dow was in several of the acts as a Temple Guard, hence the beard in all the pics recently! Babs and Pops met us at church, then we all went back to our house for a nice afternoon of good food, naps, egg hunt for Zoey and just enjoying our last Easter in this house! We've hosted every year since we got married except for one, when Babs and Pops were on the boat and we went to brunch w/ the Garners! I love the chance to use all my "nice" stuff and we always have a great meal with lamb as the main course, yummy!!

Zoey liked joining in on it all this year, especially the sparkling cider and "cheers" part that Aunt LaLa taught her! After dinner Dow hid her Easter basket and the eggs. She enjoyed the goodies in the basket and then started her hunt. Dow has been doing hunts for her the past couple weeks, with empty eggs, so it took her a little bit to realize these had goodies in them (jelly beans and Puffs), once she realized it though, she was ripping them open and drinking the candy right out of the eggs, haha! We were also able to get some nice family pics in front of our current house! Zoey is wearing her adorable dress that YaYa and Zia bought her in NJ, her new shoes from Babs and a bow, which she actually left in all day!!
