"Easter Bunny Scare Zoey" by Zoey Rasdall

Zoey has been telling me for several days that the "Easter bunny scare Zoey", and based on her past performance around "characters" such as Santa, Elmo, etc. I figured she would not be too excited about meeting the cute furry guy. Even so, we headed to Vista Ridge mall last Friday with my friend Lori and her girls to see the Easter bunny there, who just so happens to be a friend of ours from church! Ashlyn and Kaitlyn got their pic taken, and then Zoey said "My turn!" so I brought her over to sit with Ashlyn, one seat removed from the scary bunny, but she still wouldn't do it. I didn't push her, but I did manage to get her to wave to the Easter bunny, play peek-a-boo and give a high five.

On Saturday, despite the chilly wind, we headed over to the park for LBC's fun egg hunt! There was of course another bunny, this time it was Buddy (our children minister's hubby) who Zoey knows and likes - and in his costume, you could still see his face and tell it was him. I thought she might be more excited about this bunny, but nope, still just got a high five! Of course later, once he was out of costume, she was happy to have him hold her as he helped her across the jungle gym!!

Babs and Pops came, as well as Zoey's buddies from church, and Scott, Diane and Elizabeth! Dow had been doing some trial run egg hunts at home, so Zoey was pumped and ready to go! The 0-3 yr olds racked up as there was tons of eggs to collect, and once Zoey realized they had candy in them, oh boy!! We spent about 2 hours at the park just playing and having fun, then headed to Freddy's for lunch!
