Weekend fun

Friday night Babs and Pops came over to celebrate an early Grandparents day since Pops will be out of town on Sunday. We took Zoey to play in the fountains at the Shops of HV. She liked people watching more than playing in the water, but had fun regardless!





Saturday night we had a BBQ with our Sunday School class, I didn't get to take any picutres but it's always fun to see all the little ones running around together - Emery, Alexis, Haliey, Marcella and Zoey, plus some older kids who played so nicely with them!

Sunday evening we drove to Southlake to watch the butterfly release, they've had a festival going on all weekend and luckily we didn't pay to go to the festival, b/c it was a big let down!! The butterflies sort of slowly escaped, one by one - not really a "release" like it made it sound! Oh well, we enjoyed hanging out with Babs and Zoey got to see lots of airplanes up close since it is so close to DFW! There's a butterfly on Zoey's shoe in the first picture, it must have seen the one on her shoe strap and wanted to say Hi!
