10 months old!

Today Zoey is only 2 months away from her 1st birthday, or in other words, 10 months old! I can't believe it! The Pink Elephant slide show is updated here. So what does a 10 month old do? Well, I can tell you what she doesn't do - crawl! The girl wants nothing to do w/ squirming around on her belly, but walking on the other hand, she loves to do that! Any chance she gets, she will grasp hold of your fingers and take off. She is also "cruising" and will walk all the way around the coffee table, along the couch or chair, etc. She is waving and sometimes remembers to say "bah-bah" with the wave, or "ha". On Monday she discovered clapping and does that a lot now! Zoey is a chatter box, even by herself in the back seat she is just babbling away! She still loves to eat, her favorites are chicken or beef mixed with veggies (lunch/dinner) and fruit mixed w/ cereal for breakfast. We've been giving her more of our "table food" as well, Babs made Mac-n-cheese (the real, homemade kind, YUM!) on Tuesday night and it was a hit. Today I made one of the recipes from her baby food cookbook that was a vegetable, pasta, white cream sauce combo and she liked that too. She gets frustrated though with how long it takes to "chew" it, especially when she's hungry, so we usually start with her usual food, then do some new stuff at the end! Zoey still sleeps great, goes to bed at 8pm and sleeps straight through to 7am plus a morning and afternoon nap, as long as she's got her giraffe lovey, she's good to go!
