1 and 3/4

Remember when you were little and you weren't just six, you were six AND three quarters (etc)?! Well, Zoey doesn't really care how old she is probably, but regardless, she's 1 and 3/4 today! 21 months, wow! Here's some fun things about Zoey at this age:

* She is saying phrases now, although they mostly all start with Zoey, My or More, as in "Zoey's shoes", "My giraffe", or "More Cookies"!! Today was her first 3 word sentence..."Zoey turn 'nana"...b/c they were eating a banana in her book and she wanted one, so now it was her turn!

* Zoey gives great hugs, kisses and Eskimo kisses when asked, and sometimes just because!

* She is still such a great eater and does an awesome job with her silverware, although she sometimes just holds her spoon in her hand while digging in with her other hand, haha!

* After we read a book, she of course wants to read it again, but if you tell her it's her turn to read it, she will go through the book pointing out things like I do to her, it's adorable!

* Tickle time with Daddy is a favorite, she asks him to chase her and tickle her - silly girl!!

* She has learned to LOVE the DVD "Dance Along" by Sesame Street - we play it for her on car trips and plane rides, but she has realized it can be seen at home too! She will bring you the remote and ask for "walk walk" and if I say "no" - she goes and asks Daddy, she figured that one out real quick!

* For the first time, Zoey named one of her stuffed animals! Dow asked her what her new stuffed puppy's name was and she looked at him and said "Emma" - kind of like, "what do you think it is silly?" We tested her later to see if she really knew what she was talking about, yup, every time you ask her, she is named "Emma" and if you tell her to go get Emma, she gets the puppy!

* Another first is when she was coloring the other day, she pointed to it and said "Kitty" - she has never colored anything in particular before - of course it looked the same as previous "drawings" but you get the idea!

* Zoey loves singing, her favorites are Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Ring Around the Rosey, Wheels on the Bus, No More Monkeys Jumping on the Bed, and the Itsy Bitsy Spider. She does motions with all of those too, so cute!

Well, I could go on and on, but those are some of my favorites for now!
