Cinco de Mayo update

Hello, so I haven't caught up in over a week and we've been busy! Zoey has kept up the "social butterfly" status. Let's see, first there was the play date at Robin and Eva's house. Eva had all her friends over to play with her fun outdoor toys - a sandbox, a water table and a swing! The moms enjoyed a salad buffet and the company, while the kiddos enjoyed everything outside - especially Zoey and the water table (shown here)!



We also had a play date with Zoey's friend from church, James. We went to his house and Zoey got to play with his cool stuff, including a light saber!



We've finally been able to chat with Aunt "LaLa" Lexi on Skype with our web cams, it's so fun for Zoey to see Aunt Lexi while we're talking. Zoey opened her Scotland present from Aunt LaLa while on the "phone" ~ It looks like Higgins for those of you who know him!



Then we had Sarah's first birthday!! She had everyone over for a play date and we all got to check out the neat playhouse she got!! Kimberly had us fill out predictions about Sarah to be put in her time capsule, which she'll open on her 18th b-day, how clever!!





Next, Mike, Carrie and their daughter Lucy came into town. Mike is a friend of Dow's from the Lexmark days and they were in each other's weddings. Carrie and I had fun playing with the girls - Lucy is 6 months older than Zoey and seems like such a big girl with all of her words and (spoon) feeding herself and just acting "grown up" compared to what I'm used to! She is such a sweet little girl and Zoey just loved having her around - Poor Lucy, Zoey wanted whatever Lucy was holding! We went to the park, the play place at the mall, the aquarium and the new "town square" with a Barnes and Noble (train table) and fountain. We also sampled some TX BBQ one night and just enjoyed hanging out! After the aquarium, we walked around downtown Dallas and Zoey LOVED the squirting fountains, I'll have to take her back this summer with her swimsuit and let her run around! Oh, and while Lucy was here, Zoey learned to copy her and climb into the chair and also to start spoon feeding herself a little (as you saw in the video posted yesterday).







For my UGA fans out there - check out Zoey in her car seat w/ her UGA dog/carrier!! GOOOOOO DAWGS!!!



Lastly, I finally read the instruction manual for my camera (that I got for my birthday in Feb) and it is really cool!! It can do all sorts of neat stuff, like taking a black and white pic with only one color highlighted (red in first pic, blue in second), or swapping one color for another (red for green in 3rd pic), and more!
